Overview
The study programme is aimed to prepare qualified specialists for the teaching and research work with a competence corresponding to the international standards in food science.
Studies are organised as lectures, seminars, discussion with supervisor and individual studies.
The main courses offered include theoretical and empirical research methodology, scientific language/terminology of food science, problems and theories in the field of Food Science research, theoretical and practical innovations/novelties in the field of Food Science.
Students in this programme acquire the skills to do theoretical and empirical investigations in Food Science in cooperation with other persons involved in the investigation, participating and presenting results in scientific conferences, able to develop new knowledge on existing knowledge and practically implementing investigation results, prepare internationally indexed publications.
