Overview
To prepare business professionals able to identify demand for and opportunities of introducing innovations and new technologies within enterprises and able to manage the projects of implementation of new technologies, innovative products, methods of activity, development of innovative products or new services, assuring competitive and sustainable business development in the country and abroad.
Programme structure
General course units of studies: Information and Communication Technologies, Business English, Law Basics and Intellectual Property Law.
Course units of the study field: Management, Creativity Methods, Professional and Business Communication, Innovation Process and Politics, Business Economics, Research Methods, Finance Management, Technology and Innovations Management, Applied Statistics, The World Economics and Globalization, Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Strategic Management and Company Competitiveness, Negotiations and Business Ethics, Risk Management, Introduction of Company Modernization and Technologies, Practice, Higher education Final Pape and other.
Optional course units for deepening knowledge of the study field: Students may choose from study field knowledge deepening course units: Total Quality Management, Knowledge Management, Eco-innovations, Leadership and Change Management, Management of Product Lifecycle, Project Management, Consonant Development and Growth, International Networks of Business, Management of Risk Capital, Transference of Technologies and Commercialization.
Elective course units (EUC): are appointed to interdisciplinary studies or educating general competencies from the list of college elective course units.
The study evaluation: cumulative assessment and a ten-scale assessment system are applied. Programmes of course units foresee certain structural elements of assessment, their weight in the final assessment, the content of certain assessment tasks, criteria and requirements. When applying a cumulative assessment the learning outcomes are assessed by interim assignments. Studies of each course unit end with an examination. Student knowledge and abilities are assessed during the exam session only if during a semester a student implements the requirements and tasks of interim assessment foreseen in the programme of a course unit. Achieved learning outcomes of the study programme students demonstrate while doing a final thesis by the Joint Qualificative Committee.

A person, who is awarded a Joint Degree of Professional Bachelor in Business, will have knowledge, skills and competencies in technology and innovation management, company modernization and technology installation, resource management, marketing, management, economics, strategic management, risk management, negotiating and will be able to do the job related to determining the need for new technologies and innovations, planning and management of innovation installation process in industrial companies, service business companies, innovation centres, business incubators, technology parks, consultation companies, and to establish of various fields of activity own business companies.
