Entry qualification	Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Applicants for Molecular Biology master programme should have a Bachelor or equivalent degree in one of these fields: Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biotechnology. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian / Lithuanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. Applicants must upload education documents in original language, as well as translations into English. Diplomas and transcripts issued outside EU must be legalized with a legalization stamp or Apostille. Applicants for Molecular Biology master programme should have a Bachelor or equivalent degree in one of these fields: Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biotechnology.

The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian / Lithuanian.

Other requirements	A motivation letter must be added to your application. - Must have carried-out an experimental research work for Bachelor’s thesis in the field of Molecular Biology or related sciences. - At least 30 ECTS credits (equivalent of not less than 5-7 subjects) during Bachelor studies should be dedicated to the studies of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Genetics. - The applicant should have studied each of the subjects (Molecular biology, Cell biology, Biochemistry and Genetics). Successful applicant must score at least 70% on an admission score (A). The grade for admission (A) is calculated by the following formula: A= 0.4D + 0.3M + 0.3Th D = averaged grade* of the following subjects or their close equivalents: Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, and Genetics; M = Motivation letter (scored from 1 to 100%); Th = Grade* of Bachelor’s thesis. *all grades are converted to a 100-percent grading system.

Overview
The goal of this programme is to educate specialists for independent work in research and education areas of modern life sciences and technologies. Having completed Molecular Biology programme, a graduate has deep knowledge in Molecular Biology, and is able to analyses and evaluate scientific and practical data, generate and implement scientific novelties in areas of modern life sciences, independently solve problems related to molecular biology, biotechnology and biomedicine.
