Overview
The programme was developed in collaboration with the Association of Accountants of the Republic of Latvia, and the study course docents include both academics and industry professionals: Andrejs Ponomarjovs and Ilze Palmbaha, board members of the Association of Accountants; Ingus Grasis, CFA, Investment Strategist at AS SEB Banka; Jānis Rozenfelds, CEO of SEB Wealth Management; Ivars Godmanis, Council Chairman at AS Olainfarm, former Prime Minister and Member of the European Parliament, and others.
There is the opportunity to take ICAEW study courses through www.icaew.com/ for a reduced fee to pass ACA, CFAB and other qualifications.
Programme structure
The programme was created as a response to the demand of industry professionals for employees competent in:
- financial analysis and planning
- compliance functions, risk capital and project management, etc.
- team psychology and communication

Programme graduates work both abroad and in Latvia: in financial institutions, such as AS SEB Banka, AS Citadele, AS Swedbank, Deloitte, etc., as well as in leading financial positions at companies in other sectors, such as RIMI, Adidas, etc.
During their studies, students can start their business at the RISEBA Creative Business Incubator, as well as attend guest lectures it organizes.
