Overview

In the Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s degree, you will deal with the fundamentals of materials technology, types of construction and the structure of electrical machines – from simple drives in the consumer goods sector to complex production lines. Later, you will supplement your knowledge with current knowledge about production systems and digital manufacturing methods.
The course qualifies you as a mechanical engineer to take on responsible tasks in industrial companies, such as mechanical and plant engineering, automotive engineering, the chemical industry or environmental technology.
After completing your studies, you can work in design or quality management, help optimize production lines, think about resource-saving production methods or even help plan the factory of the future.
