Entry qualification

High school / secondary education (or higher) Please provide the secondary school leaving certificate in the original language. If the diploma is not issued in English, a certified translation should be provided. The document must be legalised/apostilled. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. It is necessary to have notarized certified documents translated, legalized and apostilled.

Territory requirements	Applications are NOT accepted from the following territories (based on citizenship): Bangladesh, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen.

Language requirements

English One of next variants, if you have no any of this certificates you can pass University or Baltic Center Exams: The candidate shall attach to the application a document issued during the last five years by a competent international testing authority certifying that English language proficiency of the candidate is at least B2 level. • The candidate has acquired secondary or higher education in English; • The certificate of the Secondary education completion of a foreigner who has completed secondary education in a country of the European Union and the European Economic Area or in Swiss Confederation contains an assessment of English language proficiency, which is comparable to at least level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages detection system. • The candidate has passed VUAS English test reaching at least B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages detection system.

Overview

AIM OF THE STUDY PROGRAMME
Provide students with knowledge in key areas of private and public law, namely family law, property law, liability law and inheritance law, and commercial law, paying particular attention to aspects that are relevant to translation practice.

STUDY PROGRAMME TASKS
To provide students with the necessary theoretical knowledge, as well as a set of practical skills and abilities, to provide professionally high-quality interpretation and translation services in the fields necessary for the economy (business, marketing, commercial law, etc.);
To implement in-depth knowledge, which will enable to independently develop translation methods and make translation orders in new fields, as well as to continue studies to achieve higher qualification level;
To promote the competitiveness of graduates in today’s labor market.
