Entry qualification

High school / secondary education (or higher) A university Bachelor’s degree with a good average grade (min. CGPA>60%) Applicants must upload education documents in original language, as well as translations into English. Diplomas and transcripts issued outside EU must be legalized with a legalization stamp or Apostille. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Overview

Social Work and Crisis Intervention – innovative studies that respond to the needs of modern society. Students who have successfully completed their studies will be able to purposefully apply crisis intervention methods and manage situations, provide timely assistance to socially disadvantaged people and groups.

Social work is one of the professions of helping people, which requires particularly high professional competence. The aim is to empower the person to whom services are provided and dignified, full participation in society. In the study process, a lot of attention is paid to the development of personal strength and leadership of the future social worker.

These are the only such studies that meet international requirements and provide social work qualifications and crisis intervention knowledge bases. Graduates of these studies will be able to work in the system of social services and personal health care.

After graduating, you can continue studies at KU or elsewhere in Europe in these spheres: Social work, Health Care Management, Public administration, Social pedagogy, or Management.
Work opportunities include: specialists in municipal social support departments, centres for addiction diseases, homes for the elderly or children; social service centres, NGOs, health care institutions, and hospitals.
