Overview

To prepare the students to become qualified business experts who are able to establish and develop international business enterprises, to manage business operations and projects, applying principles of sustainable development for increasing business competitiveness in dynamic environment of national and global markets.

Programme structure

General course units of studies: Business English, Advanced Information Technologies, Personality and Communication Psychology, Sociology, Enterpreneurship and Leadership, Personal Management and Career Course units of the study field: Globalization and Global Market, Economics, Management, International Business, Intercultural Communication, Economics for Business Enterprise, Marketing and Marketing Research, Research Methodology in Social Sciences, Quantitative Methods for Business, Business Finance and Accounting, Operations Management and Logistics, Business Information Systems, Human Resource Management, Sustainable Business Development, International Business Law, International Marketing, Import & Export Management, Quality Management, International Trade Financing and Payments, International Business Strategies, International Business Project Management, Professional Training Practice, Final Professional Practice, Final Thesis Optional course units for deepening knowledge of the study field: Doing Business in Europe, Doing Business in Emerging Markets, Purchasing & Supply Chain Management, International Business Networks, E-Business, E-Marketing Elective course units (EUC): are appointed to interdisciplinary studies or educating general competencies from the list of college elective course units.

Career opportunities

Having acquired the degree of the Professional Bachelor in International Business, the graduates are ready to build their career in companies that are involved in retail/wholesale, import/export, they can work as project managers in large and medium-size international companies, work as project managers, functional heads and specialists in smaller international businesses or open international companies in the industry of their choice.

After graduating from International Business study programme students can continue studies in Lithuanian and foreign higher schools implementing II cycle study programmes. Graduates can also study in accordance with the non-degree study programmes.

Career Center is an SMK department, which provides individual career planning, work/internship search consultations, helps pupils to make independent, related to studies decisions, and for students – to integrate successfully into study process and labour market, coordinates Alumni Club activity and implements monitoring of graduates, communicates with social partners and representatives of the employers, organises seminars, courses and lectures.
