Overview
Aims of the program: to ensure the appropriate professional studies in rehabilitation industry corresponding to the Latvian economic and social needs facilitating it by qualified and professionally prepared physiotherapy specialists in conformity with the regulation No 512 of Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia 26 August, 2014 ‘Regulations on the state standard of second level professional higher education’ and standard of Physiotherapist profession.
Programme structure
Tasks of the program:
To implement professional and practically applicable studies in physiotherapy conducive to democratic values and personal development in accordance to professional standard of Physiotherapist;
To ensure in-depth knowledge acquirement in physiotherapy, and develop independent learning skills that prepare students for innovations, scientific research and professional pedagogical work in physiotherapy;
To foster the competitiveness of young specialists in current socio-economic circumstances in the local and international labour market;
To foster the willingness of graduates acquired the qualification of physiotherapist to improve the professional qualification by continuing studies in Master’s program.
