The aim of the study programme to prepare highly qualified accountants who possess analytical thinking skills, are able to organise and manage bookkeeping and accounting, can manage and control financial processes of a company, and meet the needs of the labour market in the field of accounting and finance in Lithuania and abroad.
Students will learn to organise the work of the Accounting department within a company; manage accounting tasks and processes for companies of various types; prepare financial, tax, and statistical reports; control the justification of transactions and operations by supporting documents; use modern technologies and computerised accounting programmes to process various bookkeeping and accounting documents; work in a team, and develop personal traits for professional development.
