Horticulture has become one of the most promising and profitable sectors in agriculture.
Graduate study program Horticulture focuses on the formation of specialized
knowledge, research skills and professional thinking enabling to understand and explain
causal relationships, leading to the diversity of technological and biological processes in
growing horticultural and ornamental plants. Master degree study program Horticulture provides a wide range of theoretical training which creates preconditions for doctoral study.

Biological Basics of Horticultural Plants’ Productivity,
Chemical Analysis of Soil and Plants,
Intensive Fruit Growing,
Integrated Protection of Horticultural and Ornamental Plants,
Expansion of Plant Genetic Diversity by Biotechnological Methods,
Vegetable Seed Growing,
Research Planning and Analysis,
Study program provides the opportunity to choose 18 credits of optional subjects:
Planting Greenery on Balconies and Terraces, Orangery Gardening, Organic Pomology,
Forcing of Ornamental Plants, Science of Medicinal Plants, Protection of Ornamental
Plants, Quality and Safety of Raw Agricultural Products, etc.
Graduates have career oportunities as managers, researchers, senior consultants in
agricultural education and government institution that model strategy of agricultural and
food economy development, in training and management institutions, consulting services,
horticultural and floricultural farms and enterprises.
