Wildlife is a very important part of ecosystem. Modern manager or user of wildlife must know
the latest developments of wildlife recourses and their management. Prerequisite for this
study programme is Bachelor degree in Nature sciences (forestry, zoology, veterinary, game
management, environment protection, etc.). The studies provide the latest knowledge of sustainable
management of wildlife populations.

It will be available if 8 students apply.

Programme structure

Study Program Content

Subjects about wildlife and rational use of their recourses:
– Territorial Management of Wildlife Populations;
– Quantitative Management of Wildlife Populations;
– Qualitative Management Wildlife Populations;
– Interaction Between Animals and Environment.

Methodological subjects for wildlife management:
– Application of Mathematical and Statistical Methods in Wildlife Management;
GIS in Wildlife Management;
– Animal Research Methodology.

Optional subjects:
Special Silviculture;
Forest Economics;
Urban forestry.

Career opportunities

Graduates can be offered careers in leadership positions at state or private forestry sector, game and
fishery farms, protected areas, institutions of environmental protection, municipalities and educational institutions.
