& In case of HEI change at the request of a student, after the admission letter receiving from HEI, a transfer to another HEI is for an extra cost.

To train specialists of culture philosophy, who have knowledge on philosophy and media theory and are proficient in media philosophy issues and media functioning in the context of contemporary culture visual turn, who are able to apply interdisciplinary knowledge and practical skills in professional activities and compete in the job market. Undergraduates of BA in Culture Philosophy are able to apply their reasoning creatively and think critically, create and implement audiovisual projects, manage media; they are proficient in IT and are able to apply methods of data collection and analysis in experimental research; they are able to present research results to various audiences. The BA Culture Philosophy study program consists of the following study units: Introduction into Philosophy; Philosophy of Antiquity, Middle Ages, New Age, 19th and 20th Centuries, Philosophy of Eastern Culture and Lithuania, Archaic Myths and Reason in Mesopotamia, Egypt and the Bible, Drama from Aristotle to Lessing, Logics, Phenomenology, Introduction into Culture Semiotics, Intertextuality of Baltic Symbols, Culturological Religion Semiotics, Media Ontology, Audiovisual Culture, Music in Audiovisual Media, Esthetics of Photography Image, Theory and Practice of Performance, Philosophy of Interactive Communication, Pedagogy of Social Theatre, Media Ethics, Rhetoric, Foundations of Research Work, Creative Writing, foreign languages and Latin, selective study units and specialisation courses. Students are offered internship opportunities which they choose from the areas of theatre, photography, audio and video, IT. The program is completed with the defence of BA thesis.
