Baltic Center Registration Fee Includes:
– Consultations for selection of HEI
– Migration & visa consultation
– Registration in the Baltic Center database
HEI admission documents’ check
– General testing for all Baltic Center HEIs – Admission Examination
– Student’s admission to HEI, maximum 3 registrations per one fee.
& In case of HEI change at the request of a student, after the admission letter receiving from HEI, a transfer to another HEI is for an extra cost.
– Documents’ arrangement for the payments to HEI
– Bonus – on the written application of a student, preparation and transfer of the invitation for the embassy.
& The period of preparation from week to two months

Overview

“Social Work with Children and Youth” is the only international Master’s programme in Latvia focusing on social work with children and youth. The programme is designed and implemented by two European universities: Rīga Stradiņš University (Latvia) and Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), following the global standards for education and practice in the field of social work. The programme is designed to investigate the problems among children and youth, improve scientific research skills and develop the contemporary social work competence required for work in international environments.

Career opportunities

Following graduation there are a number of job options not only in Latvia and Lithuania but in other countries as well – working with children and youth in a multicultural environment, as well as in refugee and asylum seeker centres. Potential employers – local government, social and educational centres for children and youth, childrens’ crisis centres, as well as the option of conducting research and continuing with doctoral studies.
