Baltic Center examination – Экзамен Балтийского Центра
The programme is designed to focus on practical aspects of transborder trade within the European Union and on international conditions framing European Union trade.
Courses cover the following themes:
private international and sales law
trade aspects of intellectual property rights
resolution of international business disputes
The one year master’s programme consists of 30 ECTS (20 Latvian credits) of theoretical study with an interaction between law and other disciplines emphasised within each course track and 30 ECTS (20 Latvian credits) devoted to thesis writing. Following successful completion, students are awarded a master’s degree (LL.M) in Transborder Commercial Law.
Students have to complete 6 mandatory courses and 2 optional courses chosen either from the tracks of Transborder Commercial Law, Public International Law and Human Rights or European Union Law and Policy, and defend their master thesis at the end of the programme.
