& In case of HEI change at the request of a student, after the admission letter receiving from HEI, a transfer to another HEI is for an extra cost.

Graduates of this study programme will learn professional competencies that are necessary for a contemporary and competent pre-primary education pedagogue. Students will know: the basics of pre-primary pedagogy; education policy guidelines; connect various pre-primary education
aspects, such as philosophical, pedagogical, psychological, sociological, intercultural and administrative; analyse specifics of pre-primary and primary education; describe the developmental aspects of children from birth to 7 years old, methods of recognising their needs, specifics of the educational process and its management, the importance of reflection and its strategies, factors that decide the quality of education, will know how to apply their knowledge in various environments; will reflect on the educational content, will be able to detect problems in the educational practices, solve them through research and use of research results in professional improvement, find and apply methodic innovations, will be able to make decisions based onproof; will write administrative texts using contemporary methods of collecting, gathering, analysing, systemising, and visualising information; will respect the child’s individuality; will recognise and consider differences in individual children (from birth to 7 years old) that areconnected to their age, experience, gender, language, social environment, abilities, special educational needs, learning style and other aspects, will help them overcome educational challenges, will help parents (guardians) get consultations and provide pedagogic help, collaboratewith educational help specialists; will anticipate and realise goals and tasks of child-oriented education, plan and evaluate children’s achievements, apply methods of education through games, activities, and experiences, will independently create, model, improve integral educational content. Will aim for and ensure active participation of the parents in predicting and evaluating children’s progress, creating educational content, organising educational activities; will create an open, tolerant, dialogue and partnership based educational environment; will create an environment that is appropriate for every child (from birth to 7 years old) and the whole group, encourages thorough child development, is safe, emotional and physical, prepare and constructively, as well as creatively, use educational content, tools, and plan supplies in order to encourage children’s activeness, selfexpression, and thinking; will participate in creating the pre-primary education programme, analyse, interpret and adapt in accordance with the educational content, children’s (from birth to 7 years old) needs, and documents regulating children’s education; following the partnership principals, will constructively cooperate with other participants and specialists of the education process, work in groups and/or teams, participate in projects, activities in professional circles, educational and social change processes; will fluently communicate in the official language in spoken and written form, clearly and reasonably present opinions, ideas, and solutions; use a foreign language for academic and professional purposes; follow humanist, democratic and national values, rules of social civic responsibility and professional ethics; reflect on one’s work, identify and solve professional problems, select appropriate learning strategies, anticipate prospects of professional improvement.

Career opportunities

Graduates will be able to work as pre-primary pedagogues in private and public kindergartens, schools, infant and child caring centres, children’s social care homes, informal education centres and other.
