Обзор
The aim of the programme is to enable multimedia research in Latvia and to take part in international academic and applied research in this field, to develop a methodologically sound basis in the field of communication culture research, supporting the research of social communication of Eastern European societies. The programme contributes to a wider understanding of the concept of culture in Latvian studies, analysing the practice of the development, dissemination, and interpretation of various forms of communication.

Doctoral student’s independent original scientific research, participation in conferences, preparation of publications, and publishing thereof. The doctoral student conducts scientific research work in co-operation with and under the supervision of the doctoral thesis supervisor.
